4/28 Sufjan Stevens "Sofia"

For a while there, it seemed that Sufjan Stevens couldn't stop writing.  His albums would reach for 20 tracks and they would hit shelves just in time to set the release date for the next one.  But for the past couple years, things have been quiet for the Michigan born singer.  That silence was broken yesterday when he released a track called "Sofia."   While it isn't new, it is something to sink your teeth into until the next record see's daylight.  Written while Sufjan was in college, this may be an ode to Sofia Coppola or as Steven's explains the track as being "created "in a world where the banjo was my journal, where Sofia Coppola was my imaginary confidant, and where singing out of tune was perfectly OK!"
