The star of The Paws Report today at 3:30pm is Maceo, a laid back, handsome tabby cat who adores children and belly rubs. This older gentleman came to the Kentucky Humane Society because his owner had too many pets and was unable to care for them all. Maceo grew up with other cats and enjoys the company of other felines. At the KHS Cat Colony Room, Maceo loves meeting new people and purrs contentedly when petted. He's an easy going cat who would make the perfect addition to a multi-cat household. Maceo is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. By the way, June is Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat month. In celebration, KHS is offering huge discounts on adult cat adoptions on Fridays in June ($5 Fridays). We have lots and lots of kittens in June, and adult cats often get overlooked this time of year because of all the cute little ones.
