SATURDAY, DEC. 19 -- RELICS CHRISTMAS W/Duke Meyer (4-7pm) Holiday music from the Relics era featuring the holiday messages The Beatles sent to their fan club members.

--LITTLE STEVENS UNDERGROUND GARAGE CHRISTMAS  (7-9pm) It’s our favorite time of year in the Underground Garage. It’s time for our annual Christmas A Go-Go show, the wildest Christmas party in town, baby.

--BLUES PARTY CHRISTMAS (10pm-12am) Holiday blues you can use from BB King to Charles Brown!

 --A ROADHOUSE CHRISTMAS WITH WOODROW ON THE RADIO! (12-6AM) From Otis Redding to Bob Wills, Woody will be spinning the Christmas platters that matter!

SUNDAY, DEC. 20 --A VERY JAZZY CHRISTMAS  (8am-3pm) Join WFPK jazz hosts Danny O'Bryan, John LaBarbera and Matt Anthony for holiday jazz greats old, new and in-between! Plus, Dick Sisto reveals more picks for best albums of the year on The Inner Ear at 11am!

--WORLD FORCE REGGAE CHRISTMAS (3-5pm) Christmas edition with Ibuka and Benny!

-- ROOTS & BOOTS HILLBILLY HOLIDAY WITH MICHAEL YOUNG (5 – 8pm) Listen for Christmas songs from contemporary Americana artists, stars from country music’s heyday, and singing cowboys of old.

-- SUNDAY NIGHT BLUEGRASS WITH BERK BRYANT (8-11pm) A Bluegrass Christmas Special with The Country Gentleman, Berk Bryant.

TUESDAY, DEC. 22 --e-Town Holiday Special (8-9pm) Husband-and-wife team Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist return to eTown as the Ohio-based duo Over the Rhine for this special holiday show. Also joining us is up-and-coming country/rock singer, songwriter and musician Max Gomez.

WEDNESDAY , DEC. 23 --SIR MICROCOSM HOLIDAY SPECIAL (8-9pm) Jim James and Dave Givan take you on a holiday trip through time and space...

THURSDAY , DEC. 24 --UPFRONT SOUL HOLIDAY SPECIAL (8-10am) We're stuffing your stocking with funk, soul, & jazz! Listen for holiday favorites from Louis Armstrong and James Brown, plus new soulful songs of the season from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and Kermit Ruffins.

--A WINTER'S TALE  (10am-noon) WFPK Program Director, Stacy Owen, hosts two hours of wonderfully chilly weather songs. Listen for music from Fleet Foxes, The Rolling Stones, White Stripes and more!

--THE SOUL OF CHRISTMAS with Matt Anthony (12-3pm) The host of WFPK's Friday Night Sound Clash and Jazz Pulse brings you a holiday mix as only he can!

--WORLD CAFÉ CHRISTMAS EVE (6-8pm) Canadian singer-songwriter, David Myles, performs from his 2014 album It’s Christmas. --SOUND OPINIONS HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR (8-9pm) Jim and Greg welcome back their favorite bearer of holiday music cheer, collector Andy Cirzan, to share a mix of country, bluegrass, and hillbilly holiday music collected throughout the South. Andy’s mix is available as a free download through the end of the year at christmas.soundopinions.org.

FRIDAY, DEC. 25 -- "CHRISTMAS UNWRAPPED with Michael Young (6-10AM) Wake up with Michael Young's crazy collection of Christmas tunes from the ridiculous to the sublime. All styles, all genres. Anything goes!

Remembering Allan Toussaint: A Saint for all Seasons. We celebrate the song-maker, piano "professor" and producer from New Orleans who passed away suddenly in November.  A beloved Creole gentleman, Allen Toussaint was a hometown hero and giant on the American music scene.
--WORLD CAFÉ CHRISTMAS (6-8pm) It’s A Holiday Party with Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings.

--A SOUND CLASH CHRISTMAS WITH MATT ANTHONY (8-midnight) Matt sprinkle in some holiday music on this edition of the Sound Clash with a special tribute to James Brown in the 11 O’clock hour.  The “Godfather of Soul” passed away on Christmas Day in 2006.

SATURDAY, DEC. 26 --LITTLE STEVEN'S UNDERGROUND GARAGE NEW YEAR'S SPECIAL (7-9pm) Little Steven sums up all the wonderful things that happened this past year; including Steven's list of the "coolest movies and books".  We'll also run down the Top 20 Coolest Songs In the World 2015 and then some!

SUNDAY, DEC. 27 --THE INNER EAR YEAR END SPECIAL (11am-noon) Dick Sisto shares more of his favorite jazz releases of the year.

--ROOTS AND BOOTS YEAR END SPECIAL (5pm-8pm) Michael Young shares his top Americana albums of 2015!

THURSDAY, DEC. 31 --TOP 100 ALBUMS OF 2015  (8am-6pm) WFPK music hosts spend the day counting down WFPK's favorite albums of the year as voted by you! --WORLD CAFE YEAR END SPECIAL (6pm-8pm) Highlighting Best of Year album/song picks, some of the music you may have missed, some picks for the year to come, and David will pay tribute to some of the musicians that  passed away in 2015. --WFPK NEW YEAR’S PROHIBITION ERA PARTY (9pm – 1am) DJs Woodrow On The Radio and Matt Anthony live from Headliners with Billy Goat Strut Revue taking the stage at 10:30 for a live set on the radio to ring in the New Year! FRIDAY, JAN. 1 -- AMERICAN ROUTES BILLIE HOLIDAY TRIBUTE (10am-noon)
For Billie Holiday's centennial celebration, we follow her from her beginnings through a complex life of troubles and musical triumphs, her compelling "autumn" voice and untimely passing at age 44.  Cassandra Wilson describes and sings her approach to the Billie Holiday oeuvre. From our archives we hear Nina Simone and Bonnie Raitt praising their blues heroines in story and song.

--“HANK WILLIAMS, SR. SPECIAL” with Berk Bryant (Noon – 3pm)
New Year’s Day tradition honoring the great Hank Williams, Sr. with rare recordings, interviews, and the expertise of Mr. Berk Bryant on the day Hank died.

--LITTLE STEVEN'S UNDERGROUND GARAGE NEW YEAR'S SPECIAL (3-5pm)
Tune in for the Underground Garage New Years show, where we sum up all the wonderful things that happened this past year; including Steven's list of the "Coolest movies and books".  We'll also run down the top 20 "Coolest Songs In the World" this year and then some. Come join us for the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio!

--ELVIS PRESLEY: IF I CAN DREAM (5-6pm)
Elvis never got the chance to sing in front of a symphony orchestra, but the Royal Philharmonic got the chance to play behind him. Commentary from Priscilla Presley with guest vocalists, Duane Eddy and Michael Buble.
