Jacob: The Paws Report, Oct. 14

Today on our Membership Drive edition for The Paws Report at 3:30:

Jacob is a sweet, loving Hound mix who would make an awesome family dog! This seven-month-old big puppy loves squeaky toys, playing fetch, going for walks and just hanging out with his human friends. On his walks, Jacob is happy to meet and greet everyone he sees, young and old. Jacob also loves the company of other dogs. Jacob has spent some time recently in a foster home, and he has be great about not having accidents in the house. At night he sleeps in a crate next to his foster family. He is so well behaved that sometimes his foster family forgets he's only seven months old! Jacob is also a staff and volunteer favorite at the Kentucky Humane Society; we love how easy going, sweet and loving he is. Unfortunately for Jacob, he has spent half of his life in a shelter because of a health condition. You see, Jacob has Hemophilia, a blood disorder that makes it difficult for him to stop bleeding if he gets hurt. As a result, Jacob's physical activity needs to be monitored and he will need ongoing vet care. Jacob is a special dog who will need a special family who can meet the challenges of his disease head-on. Could you be the one he's waiting for? Jacob is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. If you wish to meet Jacob, call his foster parent at 502-762-3729 to learn more and to set up a time to meet this amazingly sweet dog.
