Lucy: The Paws Report, Sept. 9

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:
Looking for a happy-go-lucky dog with a gentle nature? Look no further than Lucy! Eight-year-old Lucy is a gorgeous Beagle mix looking for someone she can love forever. Lucy found herself at the Kentucky Humane Society when her previous owner was moving and could no longer care for her. Now she’s ready to find a home that will last her a lifetime! As far as staff and our volunteers are concerned, Lucy is the total package. She walks well on a leash, knows many of her basic commands and even does well with other animals. While she may be eight years old, Lucy still has a lot of pep in her step! She loves going for long walks with our volunteers and running around the play yard. If a lively, gentle, loving companion is what you’re after, come visit Lucy today! Lucy is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Visit her at the Kentucky Humane Society's Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. Learn about all our adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355.

Also, Apocalypse Brew Works is throwing a Yappy Hour fundraiser for the Kentucky Humane Society! The dog-friendly event is taking place on September 18th from 5-11 pm and there will be food from local food trucks, beer and live music. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Kentucky Humane Society.
