Sammy: The Paws Report, Nov. 11

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:

Eight-year-old Sammy is a lovely gray Tabby looking for her forever home. Sadly, her former owner passed away. Her owner’s daughter said Sammy prefers the company of humans over that of other cats and thought she would be happier in an only cat home. However, the daughter said that Sammy appears to like dogs. In addition, Sammy definitely seems to love people. She is friendly and loves to be petted. Sammy needs to get to know you before her true, affectionate personality comes out. Would you give her a chance? She'll steal your heart. Sammy is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is also declawed. Come meet her at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. View all adoptable pets online at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

Also, KHS just took in 39 rescued dogs from Animal Rescue Corps on Thursday. Eleven of the dogs were saved from a puppy mill. The others came from a variety of neglect cases, including hoarding and an overwhelmed rescue group that turned in to a hoarding situation. 13 of the dogs have already been adopted; a few will need medical or behavioral help before they are ready for adoption. Others will be ready for adoption later this week.
