It's been 12 years since legendary Canadian songwriter Gordon Lightfoot has released a new, original song. While today officially brings that run to an end, the song was technically written in 2001, not that we're complaining. While Lightfoot has a few classics like "If I Could Read Your Mind," "Sundown," and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," he's been an underrated and often overlooked artist here in the states, which really is a shame.
