It can be easy to look at the news and start to feel an overwhelming amount of dread, and that can be heard on parts of the new Speedy Ortiz LP, Twerp Verse, but the Northampton band made sure to also point out the resistance to those darker clouds and positivity occurring in the songs as well. Sadie Dupuis gave Kyle Meredith a call to discuss the themes, as well as which kind of horror movie that she can't stomach, and the possible mondegreen within their new single "Lucky 88".
