Amanda: The Paws Report, July 23

Today at 3:30pm for The Paws Report:

Amanda is a four-year-old Chihuahua who came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded municipal shelter. Amanda is a total sweetheart: she is easy going and low key. Amanda finds being at the shelter stressful, and she’s hoping she will get to go to her forever home soon. Amanda arrived at KHS with an injury to her back right paw: one of the bones in her foot was broken. Amanda’s foot is healing, but she will need to be on leash walks only and no rough play for a few weeks in her new home. If you are looking for a special small dog to share your life with, please spend some time getting to know Amanda. She has a lot of love to give. Meet Amanda at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. View all adoptable pets online at or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

Live Lunch May 2: Vice Tricks

Want to know who is coming up in the next few weeks? Did you miss an episode? Have no fear! Take a look at our Live Lunch archives and upcoming schedule.

It’s a Derby Eve throwdown with Louisville’s own Vice Tricks, this Friday at noon! Join us for some Psychobilly rock ‘n’ roll live in our studios before they play The New Vintage Friday night with Bodeco!

Described as “Social Distortion, meets Reverend Horton Heat.” Featuring the Devilish Ms. Verity Vice on Upright Bass, Vice Tricks began as a way to combine a love of 50’s-60’s Rock & Roll with the energy of 70’s punk rock and have carefully crafted, carved, and botched their sound into something unique.
