Iggy Pop and the Stooges are back with their first record containing both James Williamson and Scott Asheton in 40 years. It’s called Ready to Die, and it’s out April 30 on Fat Possum. Iggy and the boys have treated us to the first single, Burn. It’s not exactly Real Good Time, but it’ll do.

The Strokes – One Way Trigger

The latest album from The Strokes, Comedown Machine, is out in just a few weeks. There have been differing reports about whether or not the band will tour in support of the release, but one thing is for certain: We can listen to the lead single, One Way Trigger, right this second.

Nerves Junior – Goodnight Nobody

The reconstituted Nerves Junior has announced the release of an EP called Craters on Feb. 12. And on top of that, the band premiered the song Goodnight Nobody, which started out as something of a lullaby for new frontman (and former drummer) Zachary O’Renick’s daughter.

Last week, Cold War Kids quietly mentioned that their fourth album was “in the can” and promised an announcement soon. Well, the announcement has come, and we’ve got details for you. The new LP, titled Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, hits streets April 2 and features new guitarist Dann Gallucci.

They’ve already released Miracle Mile, the album’s first single, online. The song will be for sale in March, but you can listen all you want right this second.
