It’s already after 3pm Bonnaroo time and I expect this will be my last post from on site. I can’t believe how fast this Bonnaroo has gone. When I get home (and after some much needed sleep) I’ll be putting together a mini-movie of some of the highlights of this crazy weekend. Already today I saw Rogue Wave (nice chill show and a great way to start the day!) and I just now ran into Louisville musician Alanna Fugate. Totally cool! Her favorite show was the Avett Brothers yesterday afternoon.
I jammed this morning with one of the Music Allies Radio Compound technicians, John Stoecker:
So which bands did I dig the most? Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, The Raconteurs and BB King. Which bands that I didn’t know made me a fan? Ghostland Observatory and Battles. Which band do I wish I’d seen more of? MMJ (it was pouring rain during their show, but that’s no excuse!) Which act was I glad I skipped? Kanye West. Several people have told me how upset they were with his 2-hour late start and lack luster performance. One former Kanye fan was seen wearing a T-Shirt on which he’s written "Kanye SUCKS" on one sleeve and "Delete Kanye from your I-Pod" on the other. Ouch!

Well, I'm off to catch Yonder Mountian String Band and Soloman Burke and if I have time, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedschi. Then home to the 'Ville. It will be nice to sleep in some air-conditioning tonight!
