Aside from being local girls, The Watson Twins have made themselves quite a name since heading out west and popping into the mainstream conscience after becoming Jenny Lewis' backing band during her first solo album. They went on to release their own full length, 2006's Southern Manners followed by Fire Songs in '08, and are keeping on with the spitfire output with the forthcoming Talking To You, Talking To Me. This time around they've paired with a few other locals you may have heard of, My Morning Jacket, as well as another regional band, Everest, who special guest on the record that's due to drop on Feb. 9.
