8/21 Elvis Perkins "Slow Doomsday"

One of the more interesting and unique songwriters out there these days, Elvis Perkins has been having a banner year after releasing his Elvis Perkins in Deerland earlier this year. The band is already back with a new EP, titled The Doomsday EP, which features the title track and 5 new songs. One of those new songs is a track called “Slow Doomsday” which, as you’ll hear, sounds just like the title suggests, or as Perkins put it, this version “leans in the direction of its original conception as something of a gospel number."
